This ministry focuses on widows and is a opportunity for individuals to network together. They meet for Bible Study, Encouragement, and of course Lunch! For more information please contact Pastor Jon Braunstein.
Participating in our AWANA club helps establish a firm foundation for children by providing opportunities to learn about Jesus, interact with each other and most of all, have lots of fun. Our AWANA clubs are part of thousands of AWANA clubs in churches around the world. These clubs are open to all children and have kids attending from many different faiths and churches. While your child is not required to attend the other functions of our church, all of our church services and opportunities are available to your family.
All of our Awana Clubs meet weekly on Wednesday, 6:30pm to 8:00pm. The different AWANA clubs are:
Cubbies: 3 & 4 year old boys and girls (must by 3 by Sept. 1, potty trained, and a parent in our building)
Sparks: Kindergarten through 2nd Grade boys and girls.
T & T: (Truth and Training): 3rd Grade through 6th Grade boys and girls.
Our Awana Club meeting starts with a flag ceremony, then our meeting will divided into three parts: Game Time, Handbook Time, and Council Time (with a Bible Story/Lesson). We have over 45 Adult Leaders involved with our Awana Club at this time. All Clubbers should wear Tennis Shoes (or equivalent) each week. Children in sandals, etc. will not be permitted to play games because of potential injury from slipping etc. while running. We do request that each child bring 50 cents dues each week to help defray the miscellaneous costs and special supplies.
Celebrate Recovery is a 12 step and 8 recovery principle program for those with “Hurts”, “Habits” and “Hang-ups”, based upon God’s healing power in our lives. This experience allows us to “be changed”, to open the door by sharing our “experience”, “strengths”, and “hopes” with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God’s Grace in solving the problems in our lives. By working and applying these Biblical Principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. Contact: John Oakley, Ministry Leader or Laura Schneer, Ohio State Representative
Children are one of Harvest’s highest priorities, which is reflected in all the programs and activities available to children of all ages. It is our desire is to come alongside your family to help your children meet Jesus Christ and grow in their relationship with Him. We take great care in presenting Jesus in a way that is fun and relevant for children in our church and community in preparation for them to become a quality disciple of Jesus Christ and flourish all over the world.
Separation or divorce is hard for everyone, but Harvest’s Divorce Care helps you know that you are not alone. Meetings occur each Tuesday from 7p.m. to 9 p.m. and consist of an icebreaker activity, open discussion and a weekly video. While it’s not a substitution for counseling, attending Divorce Care can help you relate to others with similar experiences and learn how to heal together. The cost to participate is $15. For more information or to sign up, call 419-739-3980 or email [email protected]rvestbapt.com.
Children thrive the most when they receive teaching that is tailored to them and their way of thinking, and this is the reason Kid Konnection exists. During each Sunday service, your child can be a part of an exciting and active age-appropriate environment filled with songs, games, and lovable characters. Kid Konnection takes place during each Sunday service time and is designed for all children from preschool through fourth grade to teach Godly values. So while you’re experiencing the creative teaching and worship of Harvest, your children will experience it as well.
It is so beneficial for young adults to have fellowship with other believers their age, and this is exactly what Kinetic is meant to do. Kinetic is a dynamic ministry for those ages 18- 29 who are out of high school and have never been married. Kinetic meets weekly with Pastor Jon Braunstein in the Kinetic House (next to the church) on Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m. During meetings, young adults have a chance to hang out together and get to know each other while also praising, doing Bible study, and engaging in deep discussion.
Ladies Comfort Basket Ministry
Harvest knows the importance of letting others we care and that we are there for them. The Ladies Comfort Basket Ministry is just one way Harvest reaches out to those in need of a kind gesture. This ministry assembles “comfort baskets” that go to women in our community who may be going through a difficult time and could use a little cheer. If you would like to donate to this ministry, please place contributions in the basket in the church lobby. (There is a list of suggested items at the Connection Center.) If you know of someone that could use a comfort basket, please contact Stacey Erb at 567-204-8468. Let us know of those women in your life we can bless!
MAD (Making a Difference) is meant to reach teens where they are and strengthen their relationship with Christ and other believers. Open to teens in seventh through 12th grade, MAD meets Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in “The Attic” which is on the second floor of the church building. We usually open with high energy worship. The Jr. and Sr. High are combined for this opening time, then the Jr. High is dismissed to small group time while the Sr. High has their lesson. Then we switch. The Sr. High has small group time and the Jr. High has their lesson. Each lesson is appropriate the age group. This is a mentor based ministry with small group leaders that stay with their group from 7th grade all the way until they graduate.
It’s important for Christian men to have fellowship together, and at Harvest there are multiple opportunities. A weekly men’s Bible study group takes place at the Marathon gas station Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8 p.m., as well as other small groups that meet throughout the week. In addition, the sportsmen’s ministry connects men who enjoy hunting, fishing and the outdoors. No matter what you’re looking for in fellowship opportunities, there’s something for everyone.
This ministry is a gathering of retired individuals that meet to have fun and enjoy each other’s company. They do day trips, service projects, and sometimes just eat together. You will have a hard time keeping up with them. For more information please contact Jon or Tina Oakley.

There are several ways Harvest worships, including worship team, drama ministry and tech and media ministry. Comprised of vocalists and a full worship band, the worship team leads the congregation in praise during Sunday services and special events. Those involved in drama ministry participate in skits to demonstrate Biblical teaching during Sunday services. Tech and media volunteers are also imperative to making sure sound, video display and lighting effects run smoothly during services and special events. If you are interested in serving with us, please fill out the form below and we will contact you.
